Josh Strickland joins the cast of PEEPSHOW on the heels of a wildly successful run on Broadway. His sexy look and amazing vocals help to steer the path of Bo Peep on her journey.
A native of Charleston, South Carolina, Josh Strickland became a quickly rising star on Broadway when he created the leading role of Tarzan in Disney's Tarzan--The Broadway Musical. He received rave reviews for his performance and is featured on the Original Cast Recording. Other credits include ABC's All My Children and the National Tour of Rent where he performed the roles of Mark and Roger. He has also appeared as Guest Vocalist with Shania Twain and has made many National TV and live appearances with Phil Collins. In addition, he was a national finalist in Fox Television's American Idol and appeared on ABC's season premiere of Star Search 2004. Strickland has also performed with national jazz musician Kevin Mahogany at the International Spoleto Arts Festival USA. Recently, he received rave reviews in NYC for his award winning performance in Play It Cool.
Josh joined the cast of PEEPSHOW when the show opened at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas, starring alongside original cast members Kelly Monaco and Mel B. Josh quickly formed a bond with current PEEPSHOW headliner Holly Madison when she joined the show in the summer of 2009. That relationship turned into a starring role on Holly’s own E! Network reality show Holly’s World when it debuted in June of 2010.
In February 2011, Strickland debuted his first single "Report to the Floor" off his much anticipated EP, in which he collaborated with Grammy Award winning producer Damon Elliott and Norwegian pop/dance producer Axident. In just its first week, "Report to the Floor" skyrockeded into the top ten on the iTunes Dance Charts. With his newfound music success, it appears that Strickland's star will only continue to rise.
